Dr. Reddy’s Laboratories is seeking a dynamic packaging development professional to lead material design for injectables, OSD and topical products, coordinating with RA/QA/QC/SCM/Production/CMO for successful packaging development.

The role emphasizes lifecycle management, process improvement, and collaboration with cross-functional teams to ensure timely launches with compliant documentation and robust packaging solutions.

Qualifications

• Graduate or postgraduate with packaging development experience in pharma.
• 3–9 years of experience in packaging development in Pharma industry.
• Knowledge of packaging materials, machines, printing technologies, and regulatory requirements.

Responsibilities

• Develop and design packaging material for injectable, OSD and topical new product launch for in-house, LL/TP and IL/OS products.
• Coordinate packaging development with RA/QA/QC/SCM/MKT/Production/CMO for packaging development work.
• Lead projects on process simplification and cost improvement.
• Handle packaging development-related shop floor issues.
• Manage AVD projects for packaging material and de-risk new launches.
• Support launch teams with technical data and documentation for on-time launches.

Job Summary

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced team member for packaging development activities, artwork preparation for new and commercial filings for global markets.

Responsibilities

• Develop and design packaging material for Injectable, OSD and topical new product launch for In-house, LL/TP and IL/OS products
• Handling Work related to Life Cycle management of Product.
• Co-ordination with RA/QA/QC/SCM/MKT/Production/CMO for packaging development work.
• Handling project of Process simplification, Cost improvement projects.
• Handling all Packaging Development related shop floor issues.
• Handling AVD projects for Packaging material.
• De-risk new launch from packaging material and machinery perspective.
• Support launch team with technical and documentation for on time launch.
• Specs/Protocol/MPC/Datasheet preparation.
• Co-ordination with Artwork team for Artwork preparation. Check artworks technically to avoid any production line stoppage.
• Conduct transport validation study, UN certification testing, CR testing.
• Change part layout development, machine trial for new packaging material.

Qualifications

Educational qualification: Graduate or Post Graduate or B. Pharma or M. Pharma or M.Sc. with Packaging Development experience

Minimum work experience: 3 to 9 years of experience in packaging development in Pharma industry

Technical Skills

• Experience in regulatory requirements for geographies related to operation.
• Experience in packaging development strategies.
• Knowledge on packaging materials, machines, printing technologies, medical devices.
• Knowledge on new developments & trends in packaging
• Hands on experience of Pharma packaging and development.

Behavioral Skills

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Effective planning and high level of performance orientation.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities.
• Ability to work collaboratively with own team and cross‑functional teams.
