Job summary

Recex Pvt Ltd. in Kolkata seeks an experienced Executive Officer to lead accounts, finance and taxation, ensuring compliant and timely closing.

You will manage vendor and customer invoicing, MIS reporting, and internal controls while collaborating with cross-functional teams. The ideal candidate holds CA Inter / MCom / MBA (full-time) with 7–10 years of hands-on experience, strong Excel/Word skills, ERP exposure, and proven ability to interact with stakeholders at all levels.

Qualifications

• CA Inter / MCom / MBA (Full time) is required.
• 7–10 years of experience in accounts, finance & taxation.
• Strong knowledge of financial accounting principles, taxation, and regulatory compliance.
• ERP experience is an added advantage.
• Proficient in MS Excel and MS Word.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills with ability to interact with stakeholders at all levels.

Responsibilities

• Accounts Payable: Vendor Invoice booking and payment process; ensure checks and controls for vendor bills; manage TDS, GST and other statutory compliance; prepare vendor ageing and related MIS.
• Accounts Receivable: Customer invoice booking as per standard process; prepare outstanding report.
• Taxation & Compliance: Ensure adherence to GST, TDS, Income Tax and other statutory requirements.
• Audit Management: Coordinate Internal, External and GST audits; ensure timely completion.
• Handle day-to-day entries including provisions and year-end closing.
• Prepare MIS as required by management.

Experience

• 1. Minimum 7 to 10 years’ experience in handling Accounts, Finance & Taxation
• 2. Strong Knowledge of financial accounting principles, taxation, and regulatory compliance
• 3. Experience in working in ERP would be added advantage.
• 4. Must be well versed with MS Excel, MS Word
• 5. Effective communication and presentation skill, with the ability to interact with stakeholders at all levels.
• 6. Proven ability to work in fast -paced and dynamic environment, adapting to changing priorities.

Job Description: Person should be responsible for:

• 1. Accounts Payable: Vendor Invoice booking and payment process. Ensure all Checks and control followed for vendor bill booking and payment process. TDS, GST and other statutory compliance related to accounts payable. Preparation of vendor ageing and other related MIS.
