Job summary

Credence Global Solutions seeks an Executive – Medical Coding to join our Operations team in Pune. The role requires at least 2 years of US healthcare coding experience, CPC certification, and prior ambulance coding exposure.

You will extract accurate ICD-10 and CPT-4 codes from medical records, ensure medical necessity, and document code decisions for audit readiness. You will collaborate with peers to meet project targets, handle legacy systems, and maintain high-quality coding standards in a

• Minimum 2 years of experience in US Healthcare Coding Process.
• CPC Certification.
• Previously should have worked on Ambulance coding.
• Strong knowledge of ICD-10 and CPT-4 Codes.
• Should be able to extract/identify correct ICD-10 codes and Procedure Codes by looking at the complete Medical Records and the extracted codes should warrant Medical Necessity.
• Should be familiar with the challenges/consequences of Up coding/Down Coding.
• Should be able to identify ICD-10 codes and procedure codes with proper sequencing. Perform actions on the legacy application and documenting memos.
• Work with the team to achieve set target by the project leaders for the process.
• Should be able to go extra mile whenever required to meet project deliverables
