Job summary

Credence Global Solutions in Pune seeks an experienced Healthcare Coder with radiology specialization to support US billing and coding processes.

The candidate must be CPC certified, have 2+ years in radiology coding, and be prepared for night shifts. Proficiency in ICD-10 and CPT-4, accurate code extraction, and compliance with medical necessity are essential.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in US health care coding and billing for radiology
• CPC Certified
• Willing to work night shifts as required by client
• Strong knowledge of ICD-10 and CPT-4 codes
• Ability to extract/identify correct ICD-10 and procedure codes from full medical records and ensure medical necessity
• Familiar with risks of upcoding and downcoding
• Identify ICD-10 and procedure codes with proper sequencing
• Perform actions on legacy application and document memos
• Collaborate with team to meet project targets
• Additional responsibilities as assigned

• Perform accurate coding for radiology cases in US healthcare
• Ensure medical necessity and proper sequencing of ICD-10 and CPT-4 codes

• Meet daily/weekly targets as directed by project leaders

Job Roles & Responsibilities

• Minimum 2 year of experience in US Health care Coding & Billing Process in Radiology Specialty.
• Should be CPC Certified.
• Should be ready to work in night shift as per client requirement
• Strong knowledge on ICD-10 and CPT-4 Codes.
• Should be able to extract/identify correct ICD-10 codesand Procedure Codes by looking at the complete medical records and the extracted codes should warrant medical necessity.
• Should be familiar with the challenges/consequences of Up coding/Down Coding.
• Should be able to identify ICD-10 codes and procedure codes with proper sequencing.
• Perform actions on the legacy application and documenting memos.
• Work with the team to achieve set target by the project leaders for the process.
• Other responsibilities as assigned.
