Job summary

Udhyam Learning Foundation is seeking a dedicated Program Coordinator to support and monitor education initiatives across districts. The role involves regular travel to schools and government offices, liaising with teachers, school leaders, and officials to ensure smooth implementation and reporting.

You will collect data, prepare reports, and coordinate trainings with the Udhyam team, while building strong stakeholder relationships and ensuring timely execution of activities across assigned

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience.
• Prior experience working with teachers and school-level stakeholders is highly desirable.
• Willingness to travel across the district as required.
• Fluency in Hindi and English with excellent reading, writing and verbal communication; Punjabi is an advantage.
• Strong communication skills to interact effectively across teams.
• Demonstrated skills in stakeholder management, problem-solving and analytical thinking.

Responsibilities

• Travel regularly to assigned schools and government offices to support and monitor program implementation.
• Conduct classroom observations and interact with teachers, school leaders, and other stakeholders to understand progress.
• Monitor program implementation through field visits, data review, calls, and WhatsApp updates.
• Collect, verify, and maintain accurate program data from schools for reporting and decision-making.
• Prepare clear program reports, presentations and official communications for internal and government stakeholders.
• Build and maintain positive relationships with government officials through meetings and coordination.
• Support planning and delivery of online and offline training sessions for teachers and stakeholders.
• Coordinate with internal teams to ensure timely execution of activities and resolve challenges.

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Travel regularly to assigned schools and government offices to support and monitor program implementation.
• Conduct classroom observations and interact with teachers, school leaders, and other stakeholders to understand on-ground progress.
• Monitor the status of program implementation through field visits, data review, phone calls, and active WhatsApp communication, while staying informed about developments across assigned schools.
• Collect, verify, and maintain accurate program data from schools to support reporting, documentation, and decision-making.
• Prepare clear and timely program reports, presentations, and official communication for internal teams and government stakeholders.
• Build and maintain positive working relationships with government officials through regular meetings, follow-ups, and coordination.
• Support the planning and delivery of online and offline training sessions for teachers, school leaders, and other stakeholders, in collaboration with the Udhyam team.
• Coordinate with internal teams to ensure timely execution of program activities and resolve implementation challenges as they arise.
• Identify field-level challenges and opportunities, and proactively share insights and recommendations to strengthen program implementation.

Skills, Experience and Mindsets

• A keen interest in the development and education sector.
• Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience.
• Prior experience working with teachers and school-level stakeholders is highly desirable.
• Willingness to travel across the district as required.
• Fluency in Hindi and English, with excellent reading, writing, and verbal communication skills. Ability to communicate in Punjabi is a strong advantage for engaging with local stakeholders.
