Job summary

Piramal Pharma Solutions is hiring an Executive - Environment at its Tamil Nadu site. The role focuses on operating and maintaining the Effluent Treatment Plant (ETP) and Zero Liquid Discharge (ZLD) systems to meet TNPCB, environmental, and EHS requirements.

You will perform daily jar tests, maintain records, monitor effluent quality, and coordinate with Engineering for maintenance and spare parts. The position requires 2–5 years of relevant experience and appropriate engineering or science

Qualifications

• Diploma/BE in Chemical Eng., Environmental Eng., or B.Sc./M.Sc. in Chemistry/Environmental Science.
• 2–5 years in ETP/ZLD or wastewater treatment in pharma/chemical/manufacturing.

Responsibilities

• Operate and monitor the ETP and ZLD systems for compliant operations.
• Conduct daily jar tests to optimize treatment efficiency.
• Maintain operational records, logbooks, and environmental documentation.
• Monitor effluent quality and ensure compliance with TNPCB and environmental standards.
• Manage inventory of ETP chemicals, laboratory chemicals, and critical consumables.
• Handle hazardous waste as per statutory and company guidelines.
• Coordinate with Engineering for maintenance activities and availability of critical spares.
• Perform environmental monitoring and report deviations.
• Maintain good housekeeping and ensure safe plant operations.
• Follow cGMP, EHS, safety, and site procedures at all times.
• Support audits, inspections, and environmental compliance activities.

Education

Diploma / B.E. in Chemical Engineering, Environmental Engineering, or B.Sc./M.Sc. in Chemistry or Environmental Science
