Job summary

Piramal Pharma Solutions in Tamil Nadu is hiring an Executive - Environment to operate and maintain the Effluent Treatment Plant and Zero Liquid Discharge systems, ensuring compliance with TNPCB regulations and EHS requirements. You will conduct daily tests, monitor effluent quality, manage chemicals and spares, and coordinate with Engineering for maintenance while upholding cgmp and safety procedures.

With 2–5 years in ETP/ZLD or wastewater operations in pharma or manufacturing, you will

Qualifications

• Diploma/ BE in Chemical Engineering, Environmental Engineering, or BSc./MSc in Chemistry or Environmental Science.

Responsibilities

• Operate and monitor the ETP and ZLD systems for compliant operations.
• Conduct daily jar tests to optimize treatment efficiency.
• Maintain operational records, logbooks, and environmental documentation.
• Monitor effluent quality and ensure compliance with TNPCB and environmental standards.
• Manage inventory of ETP chemicals, laboratory chemicals, and critical consumables.
• Handle hazardous waste as per statutory and company guidelines.
• Coordinate with Engineering for maintenance activities and availability of critical spares.
• Perform environmental monitoring and report any deviations or abnormalities.
• Maintain good housekeeping and ensure safe plant operations.
• Follow cGMP, EHS, safety, and site procedures at all times.
• Support audits, inspections, and environmental compliance activities.
