Siemens Energy India Limited in Kalwa, Thane, Maharashtra seeks an Electrical Design Engineer focused on winding design for medium and large power transformers and reactors. You will design windings and winding assemblies and produce manufacturing drawings and BOMs. You will support winding manufacturing processes, quality inspections, supplier queries, and provide tolerance concessions.
Knowledge of insulation parts and conductor types is valued. Diploma/B.E.
The engineer will be working in Engineering Department of Siemens Energy Transformer Factory, Kalwa, Thane, Maharashtra, India. Shall be designing windings and winding assembly for medium and large power transformers and reactors.
Understand the electrical design output and prepare winding and winding assembly manufacturing drawings and Bills of Material for ordering of components
Support the winding & winding assembly manufacturing processes, quality inspections, failure analysis, concessions on tolerances, advising alternatives and responding queries from suppliers
We provide EPC for high and extra high voltage projects pertinent to AIS/GIS, Flexible Alternating Current Transmission System (FACTS) devices and High Voltage Direct Current Voltage Source Converter (HVDC VSC) technology. Further, we off er an extensive range of services for the complete lifecycle of the High Voltage /Extra High Voltage asset and projects including bay extension, substation modernisation, product retrofitting and overhauling, emergency services, breakdown services, Long Term Service Agreements (LTSAs), maintenance contracts, O&M contracts and spares.
