Job summary

Linde Engineering seeks an experienced procurement professional to lead indirect sourcing, tendering, bid evaluations, and negotiations, including e-auctions. You will draft contracts, manage supplier relationships and master data in SAP MM/SRM, and develop strategic procurement frameworks.

You will prepare framework agreements, perform bid comparisons, and issue award recommendations in collaboration with business departments.

Qualifications

• Degree in Business Administration, Industrial Engineering, or comparable qualification.
• Several years of professional experience in indirect procurement in an international purchasing environment would be advantageous.
• Knowledge of contract law and proficiency in Microsoft Office applications; SAP MM is required; SAP SRM is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Manage sourcing activities including tendering, bid evaluations, negotiations (including e-auctions), contract drafting, and supplier management for indirect procurement categories (facility management services, general equipment, supplies, and journal/database subscriptions).
• Prepare and negotiate framework agreements with strategic suppliers.
• Prepare commercial bid comparisons and award recommendations with requesting business departments.
• Manage and maintain purchase orders, contract amendments, framework agreements, and supplier master data in SAP SRM and SAP MM.
• Contribute to development and implementation of procurement strategies and identify cost-saving opportunities.
• Conduct demand and benchmark analyses; identify e-catalog opportunities and drive development of key suppliers and framework agreements.
• Support process and change management initiatives and special projects.

• You are responsible for managing sourcing activities, including tendering processes, bid evaluations, negotiations (including e-auctions), contract drafting, and supplier management for indirect procurement categories (primarily facility management services, general equipment and supplies, as well as journal and database subscriptions).
• You prepare and independently negotiate framework agreements with strategic suppliers.
• You prepare commercial bid comparisons and award recommendations in close cooperation with the requesting business departments.
• You manage and maintain purchase orders, contract amendments, framework agreements, and supplier master data in SAP SRM and SAP MM.
• You actively contribute to the development and implementation of procurement strategies.
• You identify and realize cost-saving opportunities.
• You conduct demand and benchmark analyses.
• You identify potential e-catalog opportunities and drive the development of key suppliers and framework agreements.
• You support process and change management initiatives as well as special projects.
• Qualifications
