JP Morgan Chase seeks an Executive Director - Global Setup Head – Billing Operations to lead the global Billing Setup function and serve as the Bangalore site lead. You will drive end-to-end onboarding, invoice reconciliation, and clearance at scale, partnering with product, technology, and controls to deliver improvements.

You will build a high-performing, inclusive team of 30+ and oversee hiring, training, and readiness for the Bangalore site, ensuring sustainable ramp-up and clean handoffs

Responsabilidades

• Lead global delivery of billing setup across Plano, Manila, and Bangalore, producing thousands of invoices monthly.
• Own end-to-end setup including onboarding, account changes, invoice reconciliation, and clearance.
• Redesign processes to reduce manual steps and strengthen controls.
• Partner with product and tech teams to deliver tooling that improves throughput and accuracy.
• Standardize invoice clearing to reduce breaks, aging, and rework; improve client outcomes.
• Establish and monitor KPIs and SLAs across setup and invoice clearing.
• Manage plans, dependencies, risks, and governance across multiple initiatives.
• Lead and develop a global team of 30+ with coaching and succession planning.
• Oversee hiring, training, and readiness for the Bangalore site; ensure ramp-up and continuity.
• Strengthen cross-functional collaboration for clean handoffs and closure.
• Maintain audit-ready documentation and control discipline across all activities.

Own a global billing engine that produces thousands of invoices each month across multiple hubs. You will lead billing setup and invoice clearing outcomes while helping launch and scale our new Bangalore site alongside teams in Plano and Manila. This role is ideal if you enjoy simplifying complex workflows, strengthening controls, and delivering measurable operational impact. You will partner closely with product, technology, and control teams to modernize tooling and reduce manual effort.

As an Executive Director - Global Setup Head – Billing Operations in Securities Services Billing Operations, you will lead the global Billing Setup function and serve as the local site lead for our new Bangalore location. You will drive end-to-end execution across client onboarding, incremental account changes, invoice reconciliation, and invoice clearing to ensure accurate, timely billing at scale. You will work with partners across operations, product, technology, and controls to deliver sustainable process and tooling improvements. You will build and develop an inclusive, high-performing team that delivers measurable outcomes.

Job responsibilities :

• Lead global delivery of billing setup and invoice clearing processes across Plano, Manila, and Bangalore, producing thousands of invoices monthly
• Own end-to-end setup execution including client onboarding, incremental account changes, invoice reconciliation, and invoice clearing routines
• Drive process redesign to reduce manual steps and strengthen controls across setup, implementation, and invoice clearing workflows
• Partner with product and technology teams to deliver tooling enhancements that improve throughput, accuracy, and exception handling
• Standardize and improve invoice clearing and reconciliation processes to reduce breaks, aging, and rework while improving client outcomes
• Establish and monitor key performance indicators and service levels across setup and invoice clearing to track performance and risk
• Manage plans, dependencies, risks, and governance across multiple initiatives to deliver measurable operational benefits
• Lead and develop a global team of 30+ employees, including coaching, feedback, performance management, and succession planning
• Oversee hiring, training, and operational readiness for the Bangalore site to ensure sustainable ramp-up and continuity
• Strengthen cross-functional collaboration with downstream billing, cash application, and control partners to ensure clean handoffs and closure
• Maintain audit-ready documentation and control discipline across all setup and invoice clearing activities

Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills :

• 12+ years of relevant experience in strategy, transformation, consulting, operations, or technology roles within a complex organization
• Demonstrated experience leading onboarding, implementation, or setup operations in a high-volume environment
• Demonstrated experience managing invoice reconciliation and invoice clearing or closely related billing closure processes
• Proven people leadership experience, including leading global teams and building a positive, inclusive culture
• Strong stakeholder management skills, including influencing senior leaders in a matrixed environment
• Strong program execution skills across prioritization, dependency management, and risk/issue management
• Strong controls mindset with experience designing processes aligned to governance expectations and service levels
• Strong analytical skills using spreadsheets to monitor performance and identify root causes and improvement opportunities
• Advanced presentation skills to create and deliver executive-level updates and decision materials
• High attention to detail and operational discipline in process design, documentation, and implementation readiness

Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills :

• Demonstrated ability to identify opportunities for AI and automation integration within operational workflows, including experience evaluating, implementing, or governing AI-driven solutions to achieve scalable process improvements and strategic objectives
• Experience leading new site build-outs, transitions, or operating model changes across global locations
• Experience delivering automation or systemic solutions that reduce manual work in setup, reconciliation, and invoice clearing processes
• Experience defining and tracking key performance indicators or objectives and key results for operational performance and transformation outcomes
• Experience partnering with intelligent automation teams and control partners to embed sustainable change
• Experience in securities services, custody, billing operations, or related financial services operations
• Billing domain experience, including invoice clearing exception management and closure governance, is beneficial but not required
