Job summary

Newgen KnowledgeWorks is seeking an Executive Digital Production to support the creation and delivery of digital publishing content and eLearning materials. You will work with HTML5, XHTML, CSS and ePub formats to produce production-ready assets.

The ideal candidate has hands-on publishing workflows experience, strong attention to detail, and ability to collaborate with editorial, design and production teams to meet deadlines.

Qualifications

• 3-8 years of experience in Digital Production, ePublishing, or eLearning production.
• Hands-on experience with HTML-based publishing and ePub production.
• Strong publishing workflows and QA skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop, format, and maintain digital publishing content using HTML5, XHTML, CSS, and ePub standards.
• Convert print and manuscript content into responsive, accessible, and production-ready digital formats.
• Create, edit, and validate ePub files to ensure compatibility across reading platforms and devices.
• Work with Editorial, Design, Production, and Project Management teams to deliver high-quality digital content within timelines.
• Perform quality checks to ensure accuracy, functionality, formatting, and consistency of digital assets.
• Troubleshoot layout, styling, and rendering issues across platforms and devices.
• Support development and production of interactive learning content using eLearning authoring tools.
• Ensure compliance with publisher specifications, accessibility standards, and best practices.
• Maintain project documentation and follow production workflows and quality processes.
• Contribute to process improvements and automation initiatives to enhance efficiency.

About the Role

We are looking for a skilled Executive Digital Production to support the creation and delivery of high-quality digital publishing and eLearning content. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience with HTML-based publishing, ePub production, and digital learning platforms, along with a strong understanding of publishing workflows and production quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop, format, and maintain digital publishing content using HTML5, XHTML, CSS, and ePub standards.
• Convert print and manuscript content into responsive, accessible, and production-ready digital formats.
• Create, edit, and validate ePub files to ensure compatibility across multiple reading platforms and devices.
• Work with Editorial, Design, Production, and Project Management teams to deliver high-quality digital content within project timelines.
• Perform quality checks to ensure the accuracy, functionality, formatting, and consistency of digital assets.
• Troubleshoot layout, styling, and rendering issues across different platforms and devices.
• Support the development and production of interactive learning content using eLearning authoring tools.
• Ensure compliance with publisher specifications, accessibility standards, and digital publishing best practices.

Required Skills

• 3 8 years of experience in Digital Production, ePublishing, or eLearning production.
• Strong working knowledge of HTML5, XHTML, CSS, and ePub standards.
• Experience in digital publishing workflows and content conversion.
• Good understanding of PDF workflows and digital document processing.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
• Familiarity with Epsilon or similar publishing workflow tools.
• Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills with excellent attention to detail.
• Ability to manage multiple projects while meeting quality and delivery timelines.
• Good communication and collaboration skills.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with eLearning authoring tools such as Articulate Storyline 360, Articulate Rise 360, iSpring Suite, Avallain, or Learnosity.
• Knowledge of responsive design principles and accessibility standards (WCAG/Section 508).
• Familiarity with SCORM, xAPI (Tin Can), and Learning Management Systems (LMS).
• Basic understanding of JavaScript for interactive digital content will be an added advantage.
• Experience working with international publishers or digital learning organizations.

Qualifications

• Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related discipline is preferred.
• Graduates from other disciplines with relevant digital publishing or eLearning experience are also encouraged to apply.
