Job summary

Macquarie Group’s Data Science, Analytics, and AI group in India seeks a senior data scientist to collaborate with global stakeholders on advanced analytics and Agentic AI initiatives. You will develop AI solutions and deliver measurable business value across financial strategies, in a fast-paced, agile environment.

You should have a Bachelor's or Master's in a related field with 4+ years of industry experience, strong Python skills, and hands-on experience with cloud platforms (AWS and/or GCP).

• 4+ years of relevant industry experience delivering data science and AI solutions.

What role will you play?

In this role, you will collaborate with global stakeholders to tackle complex challenges using advanced analytics, Agentic AI, and cutting-edge technologies. You will leverage state-of-the-art AI techniques to deliver transformative business impact across Private Markets, Credit, Insurance, and other financial strategies. In this role, you will take a central role in project teams to ensure the successful delivery of high-impact solutions.

What You Offer

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Data Science, Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science, or a related field, with 4+ years of relevant industry experience.
• Proven experience delivering data science and AI solutions from planning through implementation, with strong Python skills and working knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS and/or GCP).
• Demonstrated success implementing AI and machine learning solutions that deliver measurable business value; experience in Private Markets is highly desirable.
• Hands-on experience with Agentic AI platforms and agentic development tools, including Google Gemini, Agent Development Kit (ADK), Claude Code, Codex, Cursor, or similar technologies.
• Strong communication, collaboration, and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to thrive in agile, fast-paced environments and clearly articulate technical solutions to diverse audiences.
