Job summary

Molex is seeking a Customer Support Executive to provide exceptional support to our customers across India, coordinating with Sales, Planning, Operations, Warehouse, Finance and Quality teams. You will manage customer orders, coordinate deliveries and resolve inquiries from order receipt through shipment, while maintaining strong customer relationships and delivery commitments.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Commerce, Supply Chain, Operations, or a related field.
• 2 to 5 years of experience in customer service, order management, or a related function.
• Experience working with ERP systems.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.
• Strong verbal and written communication in English.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary contact for customer inquiries via phone, email and other channels.
• Enter and validate customer purchase orders into SAP.
• Acknowledge orders within established response timelines.
• Coordinate with Planning, Operations, Warehouse and Logistics to support on-time deliveries.
• Provide shipment status updates and delivery information to customers.
• Resolve routine inquiries related to orders, logistics and delivery schedules.
• Prepare and distribute backlog and order status reports to customers.
• Monitor CRD and MPD performance metrics and report findings.
• Support sample orders and related commercial requests.

Molex is seeking a Customer Support Executive to provide exceptional support to our customers across India while partnering closely with Sales, Planning, Operations, Warehouse, Finance, and Quality teams. In this role, you will manage customer orders, coordinate deliveries, resolve customer inquiries, and help ensure a seamless customer experience from order receipt through shipment. You will play a key role in maintaining strong customer relationships, meeting delivery commitments, and driving continuous improvement initiatives.

Our Team

You will be part of the Customer Service team within the Commercial Enterprise Solutions (CES) business. Our team serves as a critical link between customers and internal functions, ensuring accurate order management, reliable delivery performance, and responsive customer support. We collaborate across multiple business functions to create value for customers while supporting business growth and operational excellence.

What You Will Do

• Serve as the primary point of contact for customer inquiries through phone, email, and other communication channels.
• Review, validate, and accurately enter customer purchase orders into SAP.
• Acknowledge customer orders within established response timelines.
• Coordinate with Planning, Operations, Warehouse, and Logistics teams to support on-time deliveries and shipment priorities.
• Provide customers with shipment status updates and delivery information.
• Resolve routine customer inquiries related to orders, logistics, and delivery schedules.
• Prepare and distribute backlog and order status reports to customers on a regular basis.
• Monitor and analyze customer requested date (CRD) and market promised date (MPD) performance metrics.
• Support sample order activities and related commercial requests.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, quality standards, and order processing requirements.
• Participate in continuous improvement initiatives that enhance customer experience and operational efficiency.
• Support achievement of delivery performance objectives and customer satisfaction goals.

Who You Are (Basic Qualifications)

• Bachelors degree in Business, Commerce, Supply Chain, Operations, or a related field.
• 2 to 5 years of experience in customer service, customer support, order management, sales support, or a related customer-facing function.
• Experience in customer service, customer support, order management, sales support, or a related function.
• Experience working with ERP systems.
• Proficiency using Microsoft Office applications.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills in English.
• Ability to effectively manage multiple priorities and work in a fast-paced environment.
