Job summary

Molex is seeking an Analyst, Global SCH Intercompany Planning in Bengaluru, India to coordinate expedite processes between customer service and manufacturing plants and manage purchase orders and related logistics reporting.

The role supports inventory strategies, demand planning, and continuous improvement initiatives across Molex’s global supply chain hub from Bengaluru.

Qualifications

• 2-4 years of experience in global supply chain planning, scheduling, or purchasing materials

Responsibilities

• Process Expedite requests from customer service and follow up with plants to ensure customer satisfaction
• Coordinate the expedite process between customer service and Molex manufacturing plants
• Monitor and control purchase document backlog (overdue, reschedules, substitutions, returns) to keep MD04 clean
• Manage supply delivery performance of Molex plants and external vendors
• Support allocation processes with relevant stakeholders
• Support inventory strategies and demand planning selections
• Assist continuous improvement and automation projects
• Review safety stock and VSFB load as suggested by S&OP and challenge numbers when needed

Analyst, Global SCH Intercompany Planning

To coordinate the expedite process between customer service and the Molex manufacturing plants, maintain purchase orders and assist in the purchase order create process for samples, Logistics Report preparation.

Our Team

The Global Planning team was initiated in 2016 & its centralized team that is based out of Bengaluru, India. The team balances the supply with demand into the designated supply chain hub by maintaining a healthy inventory level and keep excess stock to a minimum. Choose the most cost-effective mode of transportation from manufacturing entities, and ensures on-time delivery into the supply chain hub to meet customer demand

What You Will Do

• To process Expedite requests sent by customer service and actively follow up with the manufacturing plants to assure customer satisfaction
• Coordinate the expedite process between customer service and the Molex manufacturingplants.
• To monitor and control all aspects of the purchase document backlog, i.e. overdue,reschedules, unscheduled, substitutions/replacements, returns to ensure MD04 is as cleanas possible.
• To manage the supply delivery performance of Molex manufacturing plants and externalvendors.
• To support the allocation process in cooperation with relevant stakeholders.
• Support the periodic review of inventory strategies and of demand planning selection.
• Support continuous improvement processes and automation projects.
• Review the safety stock and VSFB load (forecast) as suggested by S&OP and will challenge
• S&OP teams, when suggestions are not in line with actual numbers.

Who You Are (Basic Qualifications)

• Any graduate with 2-4 years of experience in Supply chain global planning, scheduling, purchasing materials requirement.
• Hands on experience inorder fulfilment and order Management, Expedite
• Experience in SAP MM
