Job summary

Lupin Ltd in Pune is seeking a skilled Instrumentation Engineer to handle instrumentation, calibration and validation activities including monthly calibration schedules and data logger verification used for validation.

The role covers execution and commissioning of instrumentation and automation projects within Engineering, day‑to‑day maintenance notifications, in‑house or third‑party calibration, and ensuring smooth automation of equipment and systems with spare parts inventory support.

Qualifications

• Diploma in Electronics or Instrumentation with relevant experience in instrumentation/calibration.
• 5–8 years of experience in instrumentation, calibration and validation.
• B.Tech in Electronics or Electrical preferred.
• Knowledge of PLC systems and sterilizer equipment.

Responsibilities

• Manage instrumentation, calibration and validation activities with related documentation including calibration schedules and verification of data loggers.
• Execute and commission instrumentation and automation projects within Engineering.
• Handle day-to-day equipment maintenance notifications.
• Perform calibration in-house or via third party; may involve government labs/institutes.
• Ensure smooth automation of equipment and systems and maintain spare parts inventory.
• Provide technical support for PLC, sterilizers and process equipment.

• Shall take care of Instrumentation, Calibration and validation activity and related documentation such as preparation of monthly calibration schedule, Pre Verification and Post Verification of data logger used for validation activity.


• Shall be responsible for execution and commissioning of the instrumentation, automation projects, which are in the scope of Engineering Department.


• Shall take care of day - to - day equipment maintenance notifications related activities.


• To execute calibration in-house or by third party. (In some cases, Government laboratory / Institute.)


• Ensure smooth functioning of automation pertaining to equipment’s / systems.


• To prepare & maintain spares inventory for critical equipment / Instruments.


• Shall be responsible for providing technical support of PLC, HPHV Sterilizers, Cold chamber, Stability chamber and other process equipment’s etc.
