Job summary

Macquarie Bank Limited is seeking an Executive/ Assistant Manager - Technical Business Analyst Regulatory Reporting to support regulatory obligations by maintaining and enhancing reporting platforms and their environments.

You will collaborate with the Regulatory Reporting team to analyze, design, develop, and test reporting applications, translating business requirements for technical users and ensuring robust documentation and delivery.

Qualifications

  • Experience as a business analyst in regulatory reporting across multiple regions.
  • Hands-on experience with Axiom and regulatory reporting systems.
  • Proficiency with Agile/Sprint delivery, SQL, scripting, JIRA, Helix, and Confluence.

  • Bridge technology and business by translating requirements for technical users.

Executive/ Assistant Manager - Technical Business Analyst Regulatory Reporting

What role will you play?

In this role, you will work closely with the Regulatory Reporting team. You will be involved in the analysis, design, development, and unit testing of our reporting applications. You will be part of a dynamic and collaborative environment where you will bridge the gap between technology and business, ensuring that business requirements and documentation are understood by technical users.

What you offer
  • Solid experience as a business analyst, possessing deep business knowledge of regulatory reporting across Australia, New Zealand, Asia, and Europe.
  • 3-8 years of Hands-on experience in Axiom and regulatory reporting systems.
  • Experience with Agile and Sprint delivery operating models, as well as tools like SQL, Scripting, JIRA, Helix, Confluence, etc.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to convey complex concepts using everyday language.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with keen attention to detail. Excellent facilitation skills and the ability to bring structure to ambiguous situations.
