We are looking for someone who can operate as a right hand to the General Partner. You will be part founder, part fund operator, part communicator, part culture builder. You will sit at the center of everything: investments, founders, investors, events, operations and brand.

If you’re someone who loves being in the middle of action, thrives on chaos and wants to understand how a VC fund and the Food Industry actually run, this role is for you. What You’ll Own You will be acting as the operating system for the General Partner, ensuring his days are running smoothly and the work is being prioritised and executed based on what the Fund requires.

While there are many moving parts to the role and you will be asked to colour outside the lines on various occasions, there are 3 key parts to this role which are outlined below.

  • Manage the Partner’s calendars across diverse professional activities, bringing structure, clarity and focus to fast paced days.
  • Prioritize ruthlessly and ensure time is consistently allocated to highest impact activities as agreed with the Partner.

  • Own meeting logistics where applicable including meeting room bookings, video call details, pre-reads and agendas.
  • Track priorities, decisions and follow ups on a daily basis ensuring nothing is falling between the cracks.
2. Communications & Workflow Support
  • Monitor the General Partner’s email and Whatsapp correspondence ensuring timely review of all incoming messages in real time.
  • Prioritise the correspondence by forwarding, responding or actioning as important to ensure no critical communication is missed.
  • Draft, edit and send responses on the General Partner’s behalf maintaining consistency and professionalism.
  • Maintain utmost confidentiality and discretion while handling the sensitive information.
3. Execution support
  • Support the Partners in implementing the various day to day responsibilities with regards to investments and fund management.
  • Enable operational workflows including compliance, HR, bookkeeping, documentation, payroll and internal trackers & systems.
  • Coordinate with Limited Partners / Investors to ensure timely communication, consistent follow ups and relationship management.
  • Assist with content creation and distribution across LinkedIn, Instagram, Medium, Substack, Reditt to share the Fund’s insights and increase visibility.
  • Help organise VC ecosystem events, Founder meetups and curated investor gatherings to grow India Food Fund’s offline community.
Who This Is For
