Job summary

Vnr Seeds is seeking an Executive Accounts based in Raipur to own and manage General Ledger accounting, ensure accuracy of financial records, and drive monthly, quarterly, and annual closings with high accuracy and compliance.

The role involves coordinating with procurement, operations, and other teams, supporting reporting and data analysis, and maintaining documentation and internal controls, including GST and TDS compliance.

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience with Tally and MS Excel.
• Strong knowledge of TDS, GST, and basic accounting principles.
• Familiarity with accounting software and ERP systems.

Position: Executive Accounts
Location: Raipur
Qualification: M.Com / CA Inter
Experience: 2 4 Years of relevant accounting experience

Role Overview:To own and manage General Ledger accounting, financial controls, and closing processes with high accuracy and compliance, while supporting automation, system improvements, and building a disciplined, control-driven finance environment.

Key Roles & Responsibilities:

• Own and manage General Ledger across entities
• Ensure accuracy, completeness, and integrity of financial records
• Perform detailed ledger scrutiny and ensure clean books
• Execute monthly, quarterly, and annual financial closures
• Ensure timely and accurate financial reporting
• Perform variance analysis and highlight key observations
• Ensure accuracy and reliability of financial data
• Support reporting and business analysis requirements
• Contribute to improving data structure and reporting quality
• Coordinate with procurement, operations, and other teams
• Ensure timely accounting inputs and issue resolution
• Maintain smooth information flow across functions

Preferred Candidate:

• Candidates based in Raipur or nearby only.

• Candidates with experience in CA firms will be given preference.

• Prepare provisioning and accrual entries during monthly financial closing.

• Maintain proper accounting records and documentation.

• Ensure compliance with company SOPs and internal control systems.

• Coordinate with internal teams for smooth financial and accounting operations.

• Ensure compliance with GST and TDS provisions and maintain related records.

• Assist in statutory audit and internal audit by providing required documentation and data.

• Key Skills & Competencies:

• Hands-on experience in Tally and MS Excel.

• Strong knowledge of TDS, GST, and basic accounting principles.

• Familiarity with accounting software and ERP systems.

• High level of accuracy and attention to detail in financial data.

• Good communication and coordination skills.
