Job summary

Maruti Suzuki India Ltd. is seeking an EV Testing Engineer to plan and execute testing on road and chassis dynos, validate results, and ensure robust fault analysis.

The role requires deep knowledge of vehicle systems and powertrain and familiarity with EV components such as motor, inverter, OBC, DCDC, BMS, and battery, including diagnostics. Experience with calibration tools (INCA, MATLAB/Stateflow) and driving on chassis dyno and on-road is essential.

Qualifications

• Experience with vehicle systems and powertrain engineering.
• Detailed understanding of EV architecture and powertrain components (motor/inverter, OBC, DCDC, chargers, BMS, battery).
• Calibration tools experience (INCA, MATLAB/Stateflow) required.
• Experience driving on chassis dyno and on-road testing.

• Investigate and perform root-cause analysis and implement countermeasures during development and post-development.

Job description

• Prepare vehicle testing check lists and perform testing and validation
• Planning, instrumentation, execution and summarization of EV testing on road and on chassis dyno
• Investigation and Root cause analysis of the issues encountered and countermeasure during development (during fleet), inhouse testing & post development (market issue) etc.

Technical/ Functional:

Required:

• Good knowledge of vehicle systems & Powertrain engineering.
• Detailed system understanding for EV architecture and various powertrain components like motor/inverter, OBC, DCDC, chargers, BMS, battery etc. including diagnosis and troubleshooting.
• Prior experience in vehicle calibration tools such as INCA or equivalent, MATLAB Simulink/ State flow is required.
• Experience in driving on chassis dyno, on road

Experience in EV system would be desirable
