Job summary

Job description

• Strong understanding of vehicle systems: chassis, powertrain, braking, suspension, and vehicle dynamics fundamentals.
• Working knowledge of EV-specific systems — traction motors, battery packs, motor controllers — at a systems level (deep battery chemistry or power electronics design not required).
• Proficiency in CAD tools (SolidWorks / CATIA / AutoCAD or equivalent) for layout and packaging work.
• Familiarity with Indian automotive regulatory standards (AIS, CMVR) or willingness to quickly build this knowledge.
• Basic exposure to simulation concepts (FEA, vehicle dynamics simulation) — hands‑on simulation is a plus but not mandatory for this role.
• Strong cross‑functional communication skills to coordinate between mechanical and electrical/electronics teams.
• Ability to work in a fast‑paced R&D environment with evolving requirements.

Good to Have

• Prior experience working on an EV program (two‑wheeler, three‑wheeler, LCV, or truck) from concept to prototype stage.
• Exposure to ARAI/ICAT testing and certification processes.
• Basic understanding of CAN bus/vehicle networking concepts.
• Experience with GD&T and tolerance stacking for structural/mechanical assemblies.
