Job summary

Atul Auto LIMITED is seeking an experienced EV testing specialist to strengthen the lab and define reliability targets for EV components and vehicle performance. You will bridge design and manufacturing for Electrical & Electronic components, oversee lab setup, and drive test automation across production lines.

The role requires hands-on experience with PMSM/BLDC motors, motor controllers, CAN, and diagnostic tools, with an emphasis on safety standards like ISO 26262.

Qualifications

• Experience with EV powertrain components and ASIL ISO 26262.
• Hands-on CAN 2.0B debugging and wiring harness troubleshooting.
• Proficient with diagnostic tools and Python-based software.
• Familiar with HIL/MIL/SIL testing per component specs.

Responsibilities

• Strengthen testing process for EV vehicle components and lab setup.
• Manage lab equipment, IQC, EOL, test simulations, and issue analysis.
• Develop test plans and validate E&E subsystems; drive test automation.

Job description

Role & responsibilities

• Overall strengthening testing process for EV vehicle
• Setting overall key reliability target for EV component and vehicle performance/optimization

Bridging gap/smooth transitioning from design to manufacturing about Electrical and Electronics component feature implementation

Responsibilities:

• Responsible for testing lab & equipment preparation for production process & IQC, EOL set up for EV vehicle, test simulation, standard testing procedure preparation, debugging/analyzing day to day production issue on EV as well as regular Electrical and Electronics components, warranty parts analysis, root cause identification, EV Component interface preparation & inhouse validation
• Change management implementation @plant level
• Development test plan/subsystem validation of E&E components
• Testing automation implementation

Preferred candidate profile

Technical/ Functional:

• 1. Should have practitioner level knowledge about EV powertrain component like PMSM/BLDC Motor, Motor Controller Strategy/DC Converter/Charger & LI Ion Battery BMS including ASIL ISO 26262 HARA and TARA
• 2. Understanding and hands on CAN 2.0B Extended/Standard signals and debugging
• 3. Expert on Wiring harness & EV Components troubleshooting or debugging.
• 4. Hands on diagnostic tool python based, vector CAN OE, ASSAMDF, Influx logger
• 5. Expert in component simulation HIL/MIL/SIL test standard according component specification.
• 6. Hands on experience testing equipment like LCR/Multimeter/Clamp on ammeter/CRO/DSO
• 7. Should have knowledge about vehicle manufacturing process, supplier part process
