Job summary

Larsen & Toubro (L&T) is seeking a Payroll Expert- SME Europe to lead end-to-end payroll and compliance across Germany, Sweden, France, Netherlands, Poland, and the UK. You will partner with vendors and country stakeholders to ensure accurate payroll processing.

The role requires deep expertise in European payrolls, audits, and tax compliance, with exposure to ADP GlobalView, Celergo, and SuccessFactors platforms. Strong analytical abilities and advanced Excel skills are essential.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of multi-country EUR payroll experience.
• Experience handling European payrolls across multiple countries.
• Strong exposure to Germany, Sweden, France, Netherlands, Poland, and UK processes.

Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end payroll governance for assigned European countries.
• Act as SME and escalation point for complex payroll issues.
• Review and validate payroll inputs, outputs, reconciliations, and payroll sign-off.
• Manage off-cycle payments, retro payroll, severance, bonuses, expatriate payroll, and year-end activities.
• Drive payroll accuracy, compliance, and process standardization across countries.
• Manage payroll vendor performance (ADP/Celergo) and SLA adherence.
• Ensure payroll compliance. Monitor legislative changes and implement payroll impacts.
• Support internal, statutory, SOX, and payroll audits.
• Maintain payroll controls, maker-checker controls, and audit readiness.
• Ensure timely statutory filings, tax submissions, and authorities reporting.

Payroll Expert- SME Europe

Role Purpose-

Provide subject matter expertise and operational leadership for end-to-end payroll and compliance across Europe (Germany, Sweden, France, Netherlands, Poland & UK), ensuring accurate, timely, and compliant payroll processing. Act as the primary escalation point for complex payroll, statutory, tax, audit, and compliance matters, while partnering with payroll vendors (ADP/Celergo), HR, Finance, and country stakeholders.

• Experience working with ADP GlobalView/Celergo, Success Factors platforms.
• Strong experience in payroll audits, controls, reconciliations, and statutory compliance.
• Advanced Excel and payroll analytics/reporting skills.
