Job summary

Virtusa seeks an ETL Tester to validate data pipelines and ensure data accuracy across target systems. You will drive end-to-end data quality verification from source to data warehouse.

Responsibilities include designing test cases for ETL workflows, validating mappings, and implementing Python-based automated tests. Strong SQL skills and experience with cloud data warehouses are required.

Qualifications

• 5+ years hands-on ETL/Data Warehouse testing and data reconciliation.
• Advanced SQL proficiency (joins, CTEs, window functions, optimization).
• Python scripting (Pandas/PySpark) for data validation automation.

• SQL: Advanced proficiency in SQL (complex joins, CTEs, window functions, and performance tuning).
• Python: Strong hands‑on scripting experience using Python (Pandas/PySpark) for data validation automation.
• Databases/Warehouses: Familiarity with relational databases (PostgreSQL, SQL Server) and cloud platforms (Snowflake, Databricks, AWS Redshift).
• Tools: Proficiency with Jira, Git, and CI/CD pipelines.
