Job summary

Tata Consultancy Services (TCS) is hiring for an ETL Tester to join our testing practice in India. The role requires strong ETL testing skills, data warehousing knowledge and proficiency with SQL, plus experience with Rally or HP ALM/QC for test management.

Expect 5–10 years of relevant testing experience, with hands-on work in ETL tools such as Informatica or Ab initio. The position location includes multiple cities and involves working with large datasets and Unix-based test scripts.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of relevant Testing experience.
• Demonstrated experience in Testing including planning, script design & execution.
• Demonstrated experience in making query optimization decisions, supported by appropriate tooling.
• Experience in using Rally, HP ALM/QC (Application Life cycle Management/Quality Center) for managing testing activities.
• Working experience and knowledge in ETL & Data Warehousing.
• Working experience in ETL tools like Informatica, Abinitio etc. Performing structure, count, data, negative scenario checks of whole output.

• Prepare and share test execution and defect tracking reports on regular basis
