Job summary

Tata Consultancy Services in Chennai seeks an experienced ETL Tester to validate data integration and reporting solutions. You will design and execute test scripts for ETL processes, verify data in data warehouses, and collaborate with data engineers to ensure quality.

The role requires 5–10 years of testing experience, proficiency with SQL/PLSQL, and familiarity with tools like Informatica or Abinitio. Knowledge of Rally or HP ALM is a plus, and experience with large datasets is valued.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of relevant Testing experience.
• Experience in Planning, script design & execution.
• Experience in making query optimization decisions, supported by appropriate tooling.
• Experience in using Rally, HP ALM/QC (Application Life cycle Management/Quality Center) for managing testing activities.
• Working experience and knowledge in ETL & Data Warehousing.

• Preparation of detailed Test Plan, Test Scenario and Test Scripts including test queries and commands
• Prepare and share test execution and defect tracking reports on regular basis
