Job summary

Cloudxtreme in Hyderabad seeks a senior ETL tester with deep SQL and DWH validation skills to ensure data quality across large datasets and complex ETL workflows.

You will design and execute test cases, collaborate with data analysts and developers, document results in Azure DevOps, and contribute to Safe Agile delivery with timely, high-quality ETL validation. You may also perform root cause analysis and mentor junior testers.

Job description

47 years of experience in ETL Testing. Write complex SQL queries, validate ETL workflows, perform data quality checks, test stored procedures, compare source vs target data, validate DWH loads, identify defects, ensure consistency, and document test results. Strong SQL skills, experience in ETL/DWH testing, ability to validate large datasets, good understanding of DB schemas, data quality, and hands‑on in ETL tools like Microsoft Azure Synapse

• Design, plan, and execute test cases, scenarios, and scripts for ETL validation and regression testing.
• Verify and validate data accuracy, completeness, and consistency using SQL queries and ETL tools.
• Create and maintain test cases, scripts, and documentation in test management tools such as Azure DevOps.
• Collaborate with developers, data analysts, and business stakeholders to understand business and technical requirements for ETL testing.
• Identify, document, and report defects, issues, and risks related to ETL testing.
• Conduct root cause analysis on any issues that arise during testing and provide recommendations for remediation.
• Work in an Safe Agile environment to ensure timely delivery of high-quality ETL testing.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Automation in ETL Testing skill is value added (Playwright Python/ Selenium Webdriver)
