Job summary

Motherson Technology Services Limited is seeking an experienced embedded software engineer with strong C/C++ skills for automotive projects. The role requires hands-on programming, deep TCP/IP knowledge, and familiarity with AVB and Automotive Ethernet protocols.

You will work in a Linux/QNX environment and collaborate across SAFe/agile teams to design, validate, and troubleshoot complex networked systems. Candidates should have experience in multi-threading, debugging, and using tools like

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience with C/C++ in automotive/embedded systems.
• Strong understanding of TCP/IP protocol behavior and debugging.
• Experience with Automotive Ethernet (IEEE 802.3u/802.3ab) and AVB.
• Experience with RTOS/Linux/QNX and debugging tools like tcpdump/wireshark.

Responsibilities

• Hands-on programming in C/C++ and related languages.
• Deep understanding of TCP/IP protocol stack behavior.
• Work with multi-threading and synchronization techniques.
• Configure and validate the AVB stack.
• Experience with automotive Ethernet domain and IEEE standards.
• Use network analysis tools (tcpdump, wireshark) to troubleshoot.

• Hand-on experience in Programming Languages (Proficient in C++; Knowledge in C - preferable)
• Experience and deep understanding of TCP/IP protocol/stack functional behaviour
• Experience Multi-threading and synchronization techniques
• Experience in Automotive Ethernet domain and Ethernet protocol like IEEE 802.3u, IEEE 802.3ab
• Experience in configuring and validating the AVB stack
• Knowledge in AVB protocols (IEEE 802.1AS)
• Experience in Network tools/utilities usage like tcpdump, wireshark
• Experience in operating systems, like QNX and Linux.
• Experienced in Design/Architecture Tools like EA
• Strong technical skills preferably in automotive domain
• Know-how and understanding of SAFe/Agile Development
• Logical, Analytical and Debugging/Problem-Solving skills (in TCP/IP communication)

From Automotive Domain along with Experience in Automotive Ethernet domain and Ethernet protocol like IEEE 802.3u, IEEE 802.3ab and Experience in configuring and validating the AVB stack
