Job summary

Sapwood Ventures is seeking an experienced LT Panel Estimation Engineer to independently interpret SLDs, specifications and tender documents and deliver a complete technical solution, BOQ and costing for LT panel packages.

The role involves detailed study of SLDs, BOQs, selection of switchgear and components, and coordination with sales, design and procurement teams to prepare techno-commercial proposals.

Qualifications

• Must thoroughly study SLDs, specifications and tender documents.
• Experience in LT panel estimation and detailed engineering.
• Strong understanding of LT distribution, motor feeders and protection equipment.

Responsibilities

• Estimate and cost PCC, MCC, PMCC, APFC and other LT panels.
• Prepare complete component-level BOQ/BOM and apply pricing.
• Coordinate with sales, design, procurement and OEM teams for techno-commercial proposals.

Role

We are looking for an experienced LT Panel Estimation Engineer capable of independently understanding SLDs, specifications and tender documents and developing the complete technical solution, BOQ and costing for LT panel packages.

Key Responsibilities

• Estimation and costing of PCC, MCC, PMCC, APFC, VFD, Soft Starter, DG Synchronization, AMF, PDB/LDB and other LT panels
• Detailed study of SLDs, specifications, BOQs and customer requirements
• Selection of ACBs, MCCBs, MCBs, contactors, overload relays, protection devices, meters and other switchgear
• Selection of components in line with Type 2 coordination requirements/charts
• Busbar sizing and calculation
• Panel sizing, compartment/feeder planning and estimation of enclosure requirements
• Preparation of complete component-level BOQ/BOM
• Application of price lists, discounts and costing to arrive at project cost
• Preparation of technical deviations/clarifications wherever required
• Coordination with sales, design, procurement and OEM teams for techno-commercial proposals

Candidate Profile

• Experienced candidates only, preferably from an LT panel builder/system integrator
• Strong hands-on knowledge of Schneider Electric switchgear is essential
• Knowledge of Siemens, ABB, L&T and other switchgear makes is an advantage
• Strong understanding of LT distribution, motor feeders, protection and panel construction
• Must be capable of independently taking an enquiry from SLD/specification to a complete BOQ and cost estimate Strong

advantage: Experience in LT panel design/detailed engineering. Added advantage: Ability to select and estimate VFDs, soft starters, PLCs and basic automation components.
