Job summary

Sspacia is seeking an experienced Estimation Engineer to handle civil project cost estimation, quantity take-off, BOQ preparation and BBS for RCC works in Gujarat. The role requires strong command of Excel and AutoCAD, and knowledge of SSR/DSR.

Ideal candidate has 3–4 years in civil estimation and cost analysis, with a focus on accurate, timely deliverables. Responsibilities include preparing detailed quantities, reviewing drawings, and ensuring correct reinforcement calculations.

Qualifications

• 3–4 years of relevant experience in Civil Estimation, BBS, quantity survey
• Experience in BOQ preparation and cost estimation
• Knowledge of RCC quantity estimation and reinforcement detailing
• Ability to read and interpret structural, architectural and civil drawings
• Familiarity with rate analysis and estimation software is a plus

Responsibilities

• Prepare detailed quantity take-offs from drawings of civil projects
• Prepare BOQ and detailed estimates, perform rate analysis
• Prepare and review Bar Bending Schedule (BBS) for RCC works
• Calculate steel quantities and conduct reinforcement reconciliation
• Study drawings/specifications for accurate estimation
• Coordinate with project teams to finalize cost estimates

We are looking for an experienced Estimation Engineer with 4–5 years of experience in civil construction estimation, quantity take-off, Bar Bending Schedule (BBS), BOQ preparation, and cost analysis.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare detailed quantity take-offs from architectural, structural, and civil drawings.


• Prepare BOQ, detailed estimates, rate analysis.


• Prepare and review Bar Bending Schedule (BBS) for RCC works.


• Prepare steel quantity statements and reinforcement reconciliation.


• Check BBS with structural drawings and approved bar details.


• Study drawings, specifications, and scope of work for accurate estimation.


• Prepare material quantity requirements for civil and RCC works.

Required Skills

• Strong knowledge of Civil Estimation, Quantity Take-off, and Quantity Surveying.


• Good knowledge of RCC works and reinforcement detailing.


• Strong knowledge of BBS preparation and steel quantity calculation.


• Proficiency in MS Excel and AutoCAD.


• Knowledge of SSR/DSR.


• Ability to read and interpret structural, architectural, and civil drawings.


• Good knowledge of Rate Analysis and BOQ preparation.


• Knowledge of estimation/BBS software will be an advantage.


• Good analytical, coordination, and communication skills.

Qualification

• B.E./B.Tech/Diploma in Civil Engineering from a recognized institution.

Experience

• 3–4 years of relevant experience in Civil Estimation, BBS, Quantity Surveying, BOQ preparation and cost estimation.

Preferred Experience

• RCC quantity estimation and BBS preparation.


• Experience in handling large quantities and multiple projects.


• Good command of Excel-based estimation and BBS.
