Job summary

Jindal Stainless Limited in Haryana invites a seasoned Electrical Maintenance Engineer to supervise routine maintenance and repairs of electrical systems and components for optimal performance.

You will develop preventive maintenance schedules, troubleshoot automation faults, maintain PLCs/SCADA/HMI, lead a team, train staff, and drive energy efficiency and CAPA to improve reliability and safety.

Responsibilities

• Supervise routine maintenance and repairs of electrical systems and components to ensure optimal performance.
• Develop and implement preventive maintenance schedules.
• Troubleshoot electrical, instrumentation and automation failures promptly to minimize downtime.
• Maintain, support and optimize PLCs, HMIs, SCADA and other automation systems for all critical equipment.
• Perform root cause analysis of breakdowns and implement corrective and preventive actions (CAPA).
• Plan, control and optimize inventory of critical electrical spares and consumables.
• Coordinate with vendors and OEMs for technical support, system upgrades, spares and service contracts.
• Maintain documentation for shifts, audits, maintenance schedules and compliance with statutory requirements.
• Monitor energy consumption and implement measures to improve efficiency and equipment reliability.
• Lead, mentor and manage a team of electrical engineers and technicians.
• Provide training and guidance to staff to ensure proficiency with electrical systems and adherence to safety protocols.
• Drive improvements in electrical systems and components to enhance performance and reliability.
• Identify cost-effective solutions for electrical systems without compromising performance or safety.
