Job summary

Annapurna Finance is seeking an SPM & ESG Coordinator to support SPM initiatives, ESG data collection, reporting, and sustainability initiatives. The role will collaborate with internal departments to strengthen reporting and support the organization’s Net Zero and sustainability goals going forward.

Ideal candidates have 2–4 years of ESG experience, with knowledge of BRSR/GRI and strong Excel/PowerPoint skills; Power BI exposure is a plus.

Qualifications

• 2–4 years of experience in ESG.
• Masters in Rural Management or related field.
• Knowledge of BRSR, GRI standards, and GHG accounting.
• Strong report writing and presentation skills.
• Proficiency in MS Excel and PowerPoint; Power BI a plus.

Responsibilities

• Support SPM team assignments as required.
• Collaborate with external teams on SPM and ESG projects.
• Collect and consolidate ESG data from departments for reporting.
• Conduct GHG calculations and track Net Zero progress.
• Prepare ESG reports for stakeholders.
• Assist in the Annual Sustainability Report per BRSR/GRI.
• Support ESG targets per strategy.

Job description

Role Overview:
We are seeking an SPM & ESG Coordinator to support SPM initiatives, ESG data collection, reporting, and sustainability initiatives. The role will work closely with internal departments to strengthen the reporting and support the organization's Net Zero and sustainability goals going forward.

Experience Required:

• 2 to 4 years of relevant experience in the ESG domain
• Experience in Microfinance / NBFC sector in Social Performance or ESG will be an added advantage

Key Responsibilities / KPIs:

• Contribute to the different assignments of SPM team, as required
• Collaborate with external teams for SPM and ESG related projects
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders both at head-office and field level to Collect and consolidate ESG data from various departments for ESG reporting, development of case studies or meet other project needs
• Conduct GHG emissions calculations and track progress toward Net Zero targets
• Prepare periodical ESG reports for different stakeholders
• Support preparation of the Annual Sustainability Report as per BRSR and GRI frameworks
• Support the organization in achieving ESG targets as per the ESG strategy

Knowledge & Skills:

• High accountability and integrity are mandatory
• Good communication and multi-tasking ability
• Strong knowledge of BRSR, GRI standards, and GHG accounting
• Good report writing and presentation skills
• Proficiency in MS Excel and PowerPoint
• Working knowledge of Power BI will be an added advantage

Preferred Profile:

• Masters in Rural Management, developmental management, climate studies, social work or similar stream
• Ability to work cross-functionally with multiple teams
• Strong analytical, coordination, and documentation skills
