Crisil is seeking a highly motivated Equity Research Analyst to support our investment team in identifying, analyzing, and monitoring public equity opportunities. The role emphasizes rigorous financial modeling, earnings analysis, and AI-assisted research.

The successful candidate will work with the PMs on sector coverage including TMT and Consumer Discretionary, build detailed trackers, and summarize earnings calls with live updates as required.

Formación

• Prior experience in equity research or related sectors is advantageous.
• Proficient in using financial databases and AI-assisted tools.
• Strong analytical and model-building capabilities.
• Ability to summarize complex insights clearly for PMs.

Responsabilidades

• Support coverage of TMT and Consumer Discretionary sectors with global PMs.
• Build and refine financial models, forecasts, and valuation analyses.
• Turn around model updates during earnings cycles and manage multiple priorities.
• Summarize earnings calls and provide live updates per client requests.
• Engage with sell-side and IR teams during meetings; host discussions.
• Monitor macro trends and sector dynamics relevant to coverage.
• Maintain sector KPIs and databases, including Nielsen trackers, for insights.
• Develop FX and COGS trackers for margin analysis.
• Contribute to research ideas with concise write-ups; handle ad-hoc tasks.

We are seeking a highly motivated Equity Research Analyst to support our investment team in identifying, analyzing, and monitoring public equity investment opportunities. The ideal candidate will be intellectually curious, detail-oriented, and passionate about fundamental research. This role will be critical in delivering insights that inform our portfolio decisions across sectors and geographies.

Key Responsibilities:

• Work with Global PMs supporting in the coverage of companies in

  TMT

  • interactive media and services
  • Entertainment and Media

  Consumers Discretionary

  • Hotels and Restaurants
  • Consumer Internet and E-comm
• Build and refine detailed financial models, forecasts and perform valuation analysis
• Ability to quickly turnaround model updates during company earnings and manage multiple priorities
• Summarize earnings calls and provide a live update as per client request
• Build relationships with sell side analyst and company investor relations teams and ability to host discussions during meetings
• Monitor macroeconomic trends, industry dynamics or company specific news flow relevant for coverage companies
• Familiarize with sector KPIs, track, update and take complete ownership of all databases including Nielsen trackers to perform correlation and highlight key findings to the PM
• Build detailed foreign exchange and COGS/ Raw materials trackers for detailed profit margin analysis for companies
• Contribute to research and idea generation process through short written thesis
• Work on ad-hoc tasks as requested by PM

Experience:

• Prior experience in working on above sector companies will be an added advantage
• Ability to work on databases like Bloomberg, Alphasense, Visible Alpha and seamlessly using AI tools will be added advantage
