Job summary

Green Stone Wealth Management is seeking a motivated Trading Intern to join our trading team. This internship provides hands-on exposure to financial markets, trading strategies, market research, and risk management.

You will assist traders in tracking markets, run real-time analysis, and help develop strategies under supervision. Duration 3-4 months with a stipend of 8,000 to 15,000 per month; location is at various office locations across India.

Qualifications

• Technical analysis: chart patterns, indicators, risk assessment.
• Trading terminals: placing/modifying orders and monitoring markets.
• Futures & options: basics, strategies, hedging concepts.
• Math skills: quick mental math, statistics, probabilistic thinking.
• Problem-solving and adaptability to fast-changing markets.
• NISM equity derivatives: NISM VIII mandatory

Responsibilities

• Assist traders in tracking markets, price action, and real-time setups.
• Operate trading terminals to monitor positions and place orders under supervision.
• Support back-testing of trading strategies using technical analysis.
• Track F&O positions, margins, open interest, and expiry-related risks.
• Identify patterns and anomalies using chart-based and quantitative analysis.
• Maintain trade logs, P/L trackers, and performance reports.
• Collaborate with the desk to troubleshoot data and execution during live hours.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist traders in tracking markets, price action, and technical setups in real time
• Operate trading terminals to monitor positions, place/modify/cancel orders under supervision
• Support in building and back-testing trading strategies using technical analysis
• Track F&O positions, margins, open interest, and expiry-related risks
• Help identify patterns, anomalies, and opportunities using chart-based and quantitative analysis
• Maintain trade logs, P&L trackers, and performance reports
• Collaborate with the desk to troubleshoot data/execution issues quickly during live market hours

Qualifications & Skills

• Technical analysis: working knowledge of chart patterns, indicators (RSI, MACD, moving averages, etc.), support/resistance, trend analysis, and candlestick reading
• Trading terminal operations: familiarity with placing and managing orders on trading terminals/platforms (e.g., NEST, NOW, Zerodha Kite, Sensibull or similar); comfort navigating order books, watchlists, and live market data
• Futures & Options knowledge: solid grasp of F&O basics (lot size, margin, expiry, open interest) as well as advanced concepts (option Greeks, strategies like straddles/strangles/spreads, hedging)
• Strong mathematical aptitude: comfortable with quick mental math, probability, and statistics; able to reason quantitatively under time pressure
• Problem‑solving mindset: ability to think on your feet, spot issues before they accelerate, and adapt to fast‑changing market conditions
• NISM equity derivatives: NISM VIII mandatory

Duration: 3-4 months with potential for profit sharing depending on skills.
