Sharekhan Limited in Kolkata seeks a proactive Client Acquisition Specialist to expand the trading client base and activate new accounts. You will drive revenue across equities, derivatives, and commodity products while promoting advisory services and investment solutions.

The role emphasises asset gathering, market updates, and strong client relationships, with daily client engagement and support for branch targets.

Qualifications

• Graduate with basic knowledge of financial markets.
• Minimum 2 years of relevant experience.
• Certifications NISM VIII ( Equity Derivatives).

Responsibilities

• Acquire new clients, open and activate trading accounts, and generate revenue from new acquisitions.
• Achieve targets for broking revenue from equities, F&O, commodities, and related products; generate Net Interest Income through MT Funding.
• Drive asset gathering and activation of advisory products, Investiger, IPOs, ETFs, mutual funds, and other investment solutions.
• Profile clients by risk appetite, provide market updates and advice, execute trades, confirm orders, and meet daily client contact goals.
• Deliver high service levels, maintain client relationships, assist new investors in understanding market dynamics, and support branch targets.

Job description

Key Responsibilities:

• Client Acquisition & Activation: Actively acquire new clients, open and activate trading accounts, and generate revenue from new acquisitions on an ongoing basis.
• Revenue Generation: Achieve assigned targets for broking revenue from equities, futures & options, commodities, and equity-related products; generate Net Interest Income through Margin Trade Funding (MTF).
• Asset Gathering & Product Promotion: Drive asset gathering and activation of advisory products, Investiger, IPOs, ETFs, mutual funds, and other investment solutions among clients.
• Client Engagement & Advisory: Profile clients based on risk appetite, provide market updates and advice, suggest suitable equity products, execute trades online/on behalf of clients, confirm orders/trades, and ensure at least one client meeting per day.
• Service & Relationship Management: Deliver highest level of service, maintain strong client relationships, assist new investors in understanding market dynamics, and contribute to branch targets in client acquisition, revenue, and relationship enhancement.

Key Requirements
