Job summary

Asian Investments & Securities in Mumbai seeks a trader to execute equity and derivative trades for clients on approved platforms. You will monitor real-time markets and stock performance, and deliver market updates to support client decisions.

You will manage a portfolio of clients, provide trade confirmations, periodic portfolio reviews, and coordinate with RMS, back office, and compliance for seamless, compliant trade execution.

Role & responsibilities

Execute equity and derivative trades accurately on behalf of clients through approved trading platforms while ensuring adherence to compliance and risk guidelines.

Monitor real-time market movements, stock performance, sector trends, and economic updates.

Manage and service a portfolio of clients by offering timely market updates, trade confirmations, investment insights, and periodic portfolio reviews.

Track client positions, margins, exposure, and outstanding obligations to ensure smooth and compliant trading.

Maintain detailed records of client interactions, executed trades, and investment advice provided, following regulatory and company guidelines.

Coordinate with RMS, back office, and compliance teams for seamless trade execution and issue resolution.

Preferred candidate profile

Strong understanding of equity markets, market dynamics, and the factors that influence stock price movements.

Sound knowledge of trading strategies, order types, and execution processes across different market conditions.

Familiarity with a wide range of financial products, including equities, derivatives, IPOs, mutual funds, and other wealth management solutions.

Excellent communication and client-handling skills, with the ability to explain market updates and investment ideas clearly and confidently. Strong attention to detail and accuracy in trade execution, documentation, and client servicing.

Proficiency in using trading terminals, research tools, and MS Excel.
