Job summary

Zeta Global, a NYSE-listed data-powered marketing technology company, seeks an Equity Accounting professional in Hyderabad to manage stock-based compensation accounting and related reporting under US GAAP. You will partner with HR and Legal to ensure grant data accuracy and compliance with internal controls and audit requirements.

The role involves maintaining equity schedules, roll-forwards, and monthly/quarterly SBC entries, with close collaboration across finance and external platforms.

Qualifications

• MBA Finance or CPA preferred.
• 2–5 years of accounting experience, preferably with equity/compensation exposure.
• Strong MS Excel skills.
• Analytical mindset with attention to detail.
• Ability to work cross-functionally and meet reporting deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and maintain stock-based compensation schedules (options, RSUs, ESPP).
• Ensure ASC 718-based accounting and quarterly/annual reporting.
• Manage equity roll-forward including shares outstanding, exercises, cancellations, and forfeitures.
• Collaborate with HR and Legal to validate grant data.
• Record monthly/quarterly SBC journal entries and ensure internal controls.
• Coordinate with external platforms to maintain equity data integrity.

Equity Accounting

Professional would be required to manage the stock-based compensation accounting, equity schedules, and related quarterly and annual financial reporting. The ideal candidate will ensure accurate financial reporting under U.S. GAAP, maintain compliance with internal controls and external audit requirements, and partner closely with the HR and Legal teams.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare and maintain stock-based compensation schedules, including option grants, RSUs, ESPP, and performance awards.
• Ensure accurate accounting and financial reporting for all equity-related transactions in accordance with ASC 718 (Compensation – Stock Compensation).
• Manage and reconcile the equity roll-forward, including tracking of shares outstanding, exercises, cancellations, and forfeitures.
• Work with external platforms to maintain integrity of equity
• Partner with HR and Legal teams to validate grant data and ensure completeness and accuracy of equity
• Calculate and record monthly/quarterly journal entries, including SBC
• Ensure compliance with internal controls

Qualifications:

• MBA Finance / CPA (preferred)
• 2–5 years of relevant experience in accounting, preferably with exposure to equity or compensation
• Strong hold in MS Excel
• Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail
• Ability to work cross-functionally and meet tight reporting deadlines
