Job summary

Quest Global is seeking an experienced Quantity Surveyor/Cost Engineer to manage cost and quantity work packages for projects and tenders in Bengaluru. You will develop robust cost analyses, review BOQs, and provide forecasts while ensuring data quality across QS models and dashboards.

Ideal candidates have 5–8 years in the field, strong Excel/Power BI skills, and the ability to communicate commercially with stakeholders; English is essential and German is a plus.

Qualifications

• 5-8 years of experience in Quantity Surveying, Cost Engineering, or Commercial Management.
• Good knowledge of construction/industrial projects, MEP/CSA interfaces, and cost coding.
• Ability to present commercial impacts of quantity and performance changes.
• Very good Excel/Power BI/cost tool competence.
• English suitable for negotiations; German skills advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Independent preparation of cost and quantity work packages for projects, tenders, and change management.
• Prepare cost analyses for tenders, claims, changes, and forecasts.
• Review BOQs, offer prices, and quantity variances for plausibility.
• Prepare cost breakdown structures, work package cost reports, and trend analyses.
• Support benchmarks, budget reconciliations, and earned-value/progress analyses.
• Quality assure QS data models and dashboards.
