Qualifications

Job description

We are looking for an execution-driven EPC Project Manager to lead end-to-end rooftop solar installations under the PM Surya Ghar Yojana.

• Manage end-to-end execution of rooftop solar projects (residential focus).
• Plan and track daily installation schedules to meet monthly targets.
• Coordinate with customers, vendors, installers, and internal teams (sales, design, logistics).
• Ensure site readiness, material availability, and workforce allocation before installation.
• Supervise installation quality, safety standards, and adherence to technical specifications.
• Handle DISCOM coordination including net metering approvals and inspections.
• Monitor project timelines, resolve bottlenecks, and ensure timely commissioning.
• Track project costs and minimize wastage, delays, and rework.
• Build and manage a network of installers and contractors for scalable execution.

Key KPIs

• Number of installations completed per month
• Installation TAT (order to commissioning time)
• Net metering approval turnaround time
• Customer satisfaction score (CSAT)

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in solar EPC, rooftop solar preferred.
• Strong understanding of solar systems, inverters, mounting structures, and electrical systems.
• Experience with DISCOM processes and net metering approvals.
• Proven ability to manage field teams and vendors.
• Strong project management and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to handle multiple sites simultaneously.
• Proficiency in Excel / Google Sheets for tracking and reporting.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in government schemes (PM Surya Ghar / subsidies / MNRE processes).
• Electrical engineering background (Diploma/B.Tech).
• Experience in high-volume residential installations.
