Job summary

Nikol Ev in India seeks an experienced Project In-Charge Electrical & EV Charging Infrastructure to independently manage end-to-end execution of multiple EV charging projects, including 200 kVA+ electrical infrastructure.

Lead site handovers to commissioning and final handover; manage 30+ active sites across locations; ensure HT/LT systems, transformers, panels, APFC, earthing, cables, and DG backup meet safety and standards.

Responsibilities

• Take complete ownership of EV charging station projects from site handover to commissioning and final handover.
• Manage electrical projects involving 200 kVA+ sanctioned load / transformer / HT-LT infrastructure
• Plan and execute civil, electrical and charger installation activities.
• Coordinate DISCOM approvals, electrical inspections, meter energisation and related statutory requirements.
• Ensure timely installation, testing and commissioning of EV chargers.
• Independently manage 30+ active sites simultaneously across multiple locations.
• Prepare project schedules, milestones and daily/weekly execution plans.
• Track site progress, identify bottlenecks and take corrective action.
• Ensure timely completion of projects as per agreed timelines.
• Strong hands-on understanding of HT/LT electrical systems
• Transformers
• HT panels / LT panels
• APFC panels
• Earthing & lightning protection
• Cables and cable sizing
• DG / power backup
• Electrical protection systems
• Load calculations
• Electrical safety
• Review SLDs, electrical drawings, BOQs and technical specifications.
• Ensure installations comply with applicable electrical standards and safety requirements.
• Manage electrical contractors, civil contractors, charger installation teams and other vendors.
• Allocate work, monitor productivity and certify work completion.
• Ensure quality of material and workmanship.
• Negotiate and control project execution costs.
• Monitor project budgets and prevent cost overruns.
• Manage material planning and site-wise inventory.
• Coordinate procurement and ensure availability of critical materials.
• Track material consumption and wastage.
• Conduct pre-commissioning checks and electrical testing.
• Coordinate charger commissioning with technical/O&M teams.
• Resolve technical issues during commissioning.
• Prepare project completion documentation and hand over operational sites to the O&M team.

Key Responsibilities

End-to-End Project Execution
