Job summary

Sarthee Consultancy in Pune is seeking a seasoned Project Manager for EHV projects. You will oversee end-to-end project execution, including erection, testing and commissioning of switchyard equipment up to 400 kV, HT/LT panels, batteries, and PLCC systems.

The role requires strong leadership, clear communication, and on-site coordination with contractors, PMC teams and clients to ensure timely delivery and quality across multiple substations and transmission works.

Qualifications

• Experience in erection, testing and commissioning of EHV, HV and MV substations.
• End-to-end project execution responsibilities.
• On-site management of large switchyard equipment up to 400 kV.

Responsibilities

• Project management for EHV projects - End To End Responsibility for Project Execution, erection, testing and commissioning of equipment up to 400 kV.
• Erection, testing and commissioning of HT/LT panels, batteries, PLCC systems, and related electrical infrastructure.
• Liaise with contractors, architects, project teams, clients and labour on site; manage manpower and report progress to top management.

Erection, Testing and Commissioning of Extra High Voltage Switchyard equipment such as Lightning Arrester (LA), Capacitive Voltage Transformer (CVT), Coupling Capacitor (CC), Current Transformer (CT), Potential Transformer (PT), Isolator, Circuit Breaker (CB), Transformers up to 400KV.

Erection, Testing and Commissioning of HT Panels, LT Panels, Battery, Battery Charger, Power Line Carrier Communication (PLCC) etc.

Responsibilities

• Project Management for EHV projects - End To End Responsibility for Project Execution. Erection, Testing and Commissioning of Extra High Voltage Switchyard equipment such as Lightning Arrester LA, Capacitive Voltage Transformer CVT, Coupling Capacitor CC, Current Transformer CT, Potential Transformer PT, Isolator, Circuit Breaker CB, Transformers up to 400KV.
• Erection, Testing and Commissioning of HT Panels, LT Panels, Battery, Battery Charger, Power Line Carrier Communication PLCC etc.
• Client / consultant / PMC interfacing - Interacting with Contractors, Architects, Project Management Team, Clients, Labours and Supervisors. Handling labour on site, implementation of Manpower plans. Taking feedback from site engineers - Managing erection and commissioning at site. Updating top management about the progress of projects.
