Job summary

JobItUs in India seeks an Operator – Gantry & EOT to operate Gantry and EOT machines in Production. You will follow work instructions and process parameters to ensure safe, efficient operation of equipment.

Responsibilities include loading/unloading slabs, providing feedback to the supervisor on breakages, and preventing material loss through safe handling. The role requires ITI certification with 2-3 years of experience, strong teamwork and good communication.

Qualifications

• ITI certification with 2-3 years work experience in handling equipment operating.

• Daily inspection of EOT/gantry movement for safe handling of slabs and blocks.

Job Title:

Operator – Gantry & Eot

Purpose of Job:

To operate the Gantry & EOT.

Principal Accountabilities:

1. To follow the work instruction of the machine operation and process parameters.
2. Handle the loading/unloading of slabs/blocks on the machine/yard and Angle.
3. Ensure the proper and safe working of the machines & equipment.
4. Providing the feedback of the production to supervisor for any breakages/cracked in the marble.
5. Control the breakage of materials by safe handling.
6. Follow all the safety procedures while working as described by the senior.
7. Daily check the condition of handling instruments like belt, C-clamp, Triple for safe handling of slabs.
8. Daily inspection of EOT/gantry movement for safe handling of slabs and blocks.

Qualifications & Experience Required:

ITI with minimum 2-3 years work experience of handling equipment operating.

Skills Required for the Job:

• EOT & gantry crane Operation, handling of marble.
• Teamwork.
• Ability to follow instructions and production schedules.
• Communication skills.
