Job summary

Genesys International Corporation in India is seeking an experienced Civil/Environmental Engineer with strong GIS skills to support urban planning, infrastructure development, and municipal projects.

The ideal candidate has at least 5 years of civil or environmental engineering experience, hands-on GIS mapping, spatial analysis, and geospatial data management, along with familiarity with municipal or urban local body projects.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of experience in civil or environmental engineering with GIS analysis.
• Hands-on experience with ArcGIS, QGIS, or other GIS software.

Responsibilities

• Conduct GIS-based spatial analysis for civil infrastructure, environmental planning, and municipal development projects.
• Prepare, manage, and analyze geospatial datasets, thematic maps, and engineering drawings.
• Perform site assessments, infrastructure mapping, and environmental impact analysis using GIS tools.
• Support urban infrastructure planning, including roads, drainage, water supply, sewerage, and utility networks.
• Analyze land use, land cover, terrain, and environmental datasets to support project planning and decision-making.
• Integrate engineering data with GIS platforms for asset mapping, monitoring, and reporting.
• Coordinate with civil engineering, environmental, surveying, and GIS teams to ensure data accuracy.
• Prepare technical reports, project documentation, maps, and presentations for clients and stakeholders.
• Ensure compliance with relevant environmental standards, engineering guidelines, and municipal regulations.
• Support municipal corporation and urban local body projects, including infrastructure planning and environmental management.

Preferred Candidate Profile

Candidates with experience in GIS-enabled civil infrastructure planning, environmental management, municipal engineering, and urban development projects are preferred.
