Job summary

T-Square Projects in Ahmedabad is seeking an Assistant Civil Engineer for a full-time hybrid role based in Ahmedabad with some work-from-home tasks. You will assist in civil design, prepare drawings, reports, and technical documentation for infrastructure and construction projects, and support planning and coordination.

The role involves site visits, data collection, quality checks, compliance with codes and safety, and collaboration with senior engineers and project managers to resolve issues

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or a closely related discipline.
• Proficiency in Civil Engineering Design and the ability to prepare and interpret technical drawings and project documentation.
• Experience or coursework in Planning and project coordination within civil or infrastructure projects.
• Knowledge of Stormwater Management principles and related environmental or drainage systems.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and numerical skills with attention to detail and accuracy.
• Effective written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to work collaboratively in multidisciplinary teams.

Responsibilities

• Assist in civil engineering design activities, including preparing drawings, reports, and technical documentation for infrastructure and construction projects.
• Support planning and coordination of project work and coordinate with senior engineers and project managers.
• Conduct site visits, data collection and quality checks as needed, ensuring compliance with relevant codes, standards and safety requirements.

Role Description

• Strong foundation in Civil Engineering and familiarity with the responsibilities and practices of Civil Engineers.
• Proficiency in Civil Engineering Design, including the ability to prepare and interpret technical drawings and project documentation.
• Experience or coursework in Planning and project coordination within civil or infrastructure projects.
• Knowledge of Stormwater Management principles and related environmental or drainage systems.
• Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) in Civil Engineering or a closely related discipline.
• Ability to use relevant engineering software (e.g., AutoCAD, civil design tools) and MS Office applications.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and numerical skills with attention to detail and accuracy.
• Effective written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to work collaboratively in multidisciplinary teams.
• Willingness to conduct site visits and adapt to a hybrid work environment combining office and remote work.
• Knowledge of local codes, standards, and regulations applicable to civil engineering projects in India is an advantage.
