Responsibilities

  • Operate and monitor ETP, STP, MBR, RO and other environmental systems to ensure smooth operations.
  • Monitor process parameters, optimize plant performance, and coordinate maintenance.
  • Ensure compliance with MPCB/CPCB regulations and internal standards.
  • Supervise hazardous waste management, labeling, storage, and coordination with recyclers/TSDF.
  • Manage chemical inventory, raise PRs, and process goods receipts via SAP.
  • Supervise operators and contractors, assign daily work, and ensure safety.
  • Prepare Daily Plant Reports, HSE reports, and maintain records.
  • Coordinate environmental sampling and lab analysis, implement corrective actions.
  • Issue permits, conduct safety inspections, and promote safety awareness.
  • Prepare procurement-related documents and ensure compliant invoicing.

Role : Executive Environment & Ecology

Reporting to : Site Lead Environment & Ecology

Work Location : Roha

Qualification & Experience : Diploma in Environment / Chemical,

Experience : 3 to 5 Years

Key Responsibilities (indicative not exhaustive)Roles & Responsibilities
  • Operate and monitor ETP, STP, MBR, Lamella Clarifier, RO, MEE, MVR, ATFD, Stripper, and other environmental utility systems to ensure efficient and uninterrupted operations.
  • Monitor critical process parameters, optimize plant performance, and coordinate preventive and breakdown maintenance to maximize equipment availability.
  • Ensure compliance with MPCB/CPCB regulations, consent conditions, statutory requirements, and internal environmental standards through regular inspections.
  • Supervise hazardous waste management, including segregation, storage, labelling, manifest preparation, transportation, disposal, and coordination with authorized recyclers/TSDF.
  • Manage inventory of chemicals, consumables, and spares; raise Purchase Requisitions (PR), Material Requisitions, and Goods Receipt activities through SAP to ensure uninterrupted operations.
  • Supervise operators and contractors by assigning daily work, monitoring attendance, productivity, discipline, and ensuring safe work practices.
  • Prepare Daily Plant Reports (DPR), HSE reports, operational logbooks, statutory records, and maintain accurate documentation related to operations, maintenance, and compliance.
  • Coordinate environmental sampling and laboratory analysis, review test results, and implement corrective actions for process deviations.
  • Ensure adherence to safety procedures by issuing work permits, conducting safety inspections, reporting unsafe conditions, participating in incident investigations, and promoting safety awareness.
  • Prepare purchase requisitions, verify contractor bills, process JMRs, coordinate invoice submissions, and ensure compliance with procurement and financial procedures.
  • optimization, water conservation, waste minimization, and resource efficiency initiatives.
