Role Summary

Lead the Environment, Health & Safety (EHS) function across projects by establishing and implementing robust safety systems, ensuring statutory compliance, and driving a strong safety culture to enable safe and timely project execution.

• Develop and implement EHS Management Systems, policies, procedures, and guidelines across project sites
• Ensure compliance with all applicable statutory EHS regulations and internal policies
• Drive execution and adoption of EHS practices across teams and project sites
• Conduct regular safety inspections to identify unsafe conditions and recommend corrective actions
• Advise and support project teams, supervisors, and department heads on occupational health & safety measures
• Monitor effectiveness of safety initiatives and drive continuous improvement to prevent incidents
• Coordinate with site teams, safety engineers, and client safety teams for seamless implementation of safety practices
• Conduct audits, site visits, and manage client escalations related to safety
• Track and consolidate safety data across projects; maintain MIS and documentation for reporting and future pre‑qualification

Requirements

• B.E./B.Tech (relevant discipline)
• 10–15 years of experience in EHS, preferably within EPC/construction projects
• Strong knowledge of EHS regulations, standards, and implementation practices
• Experience in managing safety audits, inspections, and compliance frameworks
• Strong coordination and stakeholder management skills
• High attention to detail with a proactive and risk‑aware approach
