Job summary

UST is seeking an Entra ID and Entra Connect Administrator (L2) to maintain the health, availability, and security of the identity environment. You will provide L2 operational support and manage identity and directory synchronization.

Role Description

UST is seeking a skilled Entra ID and Entra Connect Administrator (L2) with strong independent capability in Microsoft Entra ID (Azure AD) AND Azure AD Connect / Entra Connect. The role focuses on maintaining the health, availability, and security of the identity environment while providing L2 operational support and assisting with selected L2.5 and L3 activities. The successful candidate will manage identity administration and directory synchronization activities, resolve authentication and access-related incidents, and support Conditional Access & MFA AND Enterprise Applications / SSO with limited guidance. This position requires strong troubleshooting, analytical, communication, ownership, and stakeholder-management capabilities in an enterprise support environment.

Key Responsibilities

Administer users, groups, access, and identity-related configurations using Microsoft Entra ID (Azure AD).
Monitor, maintain, and troubleshoot directory synchronization using Azure AD Connect / Entra Connect.
Investigate and resolve synchronization failures, directory conflicts, and identity-related operational issues across connected environments.
Resolve L2 incidents involving user authentication, access, Conditional Access & MFA, and identity synchronization.
Support the configuration, testing, maintenance, and troubleshooting of Conditional Access & MFA controls.
Support application onboarding, access administration, and authentication integrations involving Enterprise Applications / SSO.
Analyze sign-in information, audit activity, synchronization status, and service s to identify and resolve identity-related issues.
Handle L2 incidents and service requests within agreed service-level expectations.
Perform root-cause analysis for recurring authentication, access, and synchronization issues.
Support high-priority incidents and collaborate with specialized teams when advanced escalation is required.
Maintain operational documentation, knowledge-base articles, standard operating procedures, and troubleshooting guidance.
Participate in knowledge-transfer sessions and document technical and operational procedures to support service continuity.
Work independently in a global support environment while demonstrating accountability, customer focus, and effective stakeholder communication.
