Job Title: Entomologist / Insect Specialist

Job Overview:

The Entomologist will be primarily responsible for overseeing all insect breeding operations, ensuring quality control at each stage, including egg production, hatching processes, and larvae health. The candidate will be actively involved in troubleshooting any insect breeding-related issues to maintain high productivity and quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:

Manage and oversee insect breeding processes, specifically focused on Black Soldier Fly (BSF).
Conduct routine quality control inspections to ensure optimal egg viability and hatch rates.
Monitor larvae development closely, identifying any issues early and implementing corrective actions.
Develop and maintain detailed records of breeding activities, hatching success rates, and larvae health status.
Implement pest management practices to mitigate contamination risks and improve breeding outcomes.
Provide expert solutions and troubleshooting for problems in insect breeding, hatching, and rearing phases.
Stay informed of latest research and technologies in entomology, particularly related to BSF and insect-based bioconversion.

Qualifications and Skills Required:

Degree in Entomology, Zoology, Biology, or a closely related scientific discipline.
Strong understanding of insect biology, life cycles, and general entomological principles.
Proven knowledge in pest management techniques and best practices.
