Hitachi Energy Ltd. in Bengaluru seeks an Enterprise Software Controlling Analyst to drive financial insights, performance, and strategic decision-making for the Software business.

You will combine financial expertise with business partnering and digital transformation across a global finance team. You will work on budgeting, forecasting, and month-end close while supporting SAP S/4HANA initiatives, process standardization, automation, and strong governance to shape the future of finance

Qualifications

• CA/CMA/ACCA/CIMA or MBA (Finance) qualification required.
• 2–5 years of experience in Financial Controlling, FP&A, or related finance functions.
• Hands-on experience with SAP S/4HANA in finance/controlling environment.
• Solid understanding of SAP CO integration with FI, MM, SD, PP and PS modules.
• Experience in Project Controlling, Software Controlling or complex business-finance partnering preferred.
• Knowledge of Salesforce (SFDC) and its financial processes is an advantage.
• Strong analytical, communication, stakeholder management and global collaboration skills.
• Fluent written and spoken English for communicating insights to finance and non-finance stakeholders.

How You'll Make an Impact

• Analyze Profit & Loss statements, Balance Sheets, and key financial metrics to provide actionable business insights.
• Partner with Business Unit Controllers, Operational Unit Controllers, and Project Managers to monitor and improve business performance.
• Prepare management presentations, financial reports, and executive‑level analyses to support strategic decision‑making.
• Support budgeting, forecasting, business planning, and financial performance reviews for the assigned product group.
• Collaborate with global finance and business teams to evaluate end‑to‑end financial value streams and identify opportunities for standardization and automation.
• Contribute to SAP S/4HANA transformation initiatives, including solution design, testing, implementation, and process enhancement activities.
• Support month‑end and year‑end closing activities, including accruals, provisions, allocations, and result analysis.
• Ensure compliance with internal controls, corporate policies, financial governance requirements, and audit standards.
• Monitor business risks, revenue trends, profitability drivers, and cash flow performance to support sustainable growth.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives that enhance process efficiency, reporting quality, and business outcomes.

Your Background

• CA, CMA, ACCA, CIMA, or MBA (Finance) qualification.
• 2‑5 years of experience in Financial Controlling, FP&A, Management Accounting, or related finance functions.
• Strong hands‑on experience working with SAP S/4HANA in a finance or controlling environment.
• Solid understanding of SAP CO integration with FI, MM, SD, PP, and PS modules.
• Experience in Project Controlling, Software Controlling, or complex business‑finance partnering environments is preferred.
• Knowledge of Salesforce (SFDC) and its financial business processes is considered an advantage.
• Strong analytical, communication, stakeholder management, and problem‑solving skills with the ability to work effectively in a global environment.
• Fluent written and spoken English with the ability to communicate financial insights to both finance and non‑finance stakeholders.
