Job summary

Hitachi Energy is seeking a Finance Business Analyst to join a global finance organisation, driving digital transformation through automation, analytics, and standardized processes across Function & Legal Entity Controlling. You will partner with leadership to enable informed decision‑making and enhanced reporting capabilities.

Responsibilities include budgeting, forecasting, month‑end close support, and building dashboards using Power BI and Power Automate.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, Data Analytics, or a related discipline.
• 3 to 7 years of experience in Finance, Controlling, FP&A, Accounting, Business Analytics, or Finance Transformation roles.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Power BI, SAP, Power Automate, SharePoint, and Microsoft 365 applications.
• Proven experience in process improvement, standardisation, automation, and digital transformation initiatives.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills with the ability to convert data into meaningful business insights.

Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills with the ability to convert data into meaningful business insights.

Preferred Qualifications

Professional accounting qualification such as Chartered Accountant (CA) or equivalent.
