Job summary

Datamatics seeks an experienced Enterprise Architect to define technology strategy, enterprise architecture, and transformation roadmaps for our offshore team. This role designs scalable, secure architecture across applications, data, and integration while aligning with business goals.

You will collaborate with onshore and offshore stakeholders, drive cloud and modernization programs, and establish governance, standards, and reference architectures.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's/Master's degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field.
• 15+ years IT experience with 4+ years in enterprise/solution architecture.
• Strong expertise in TOGAF, Zachman, or similar frameworks.
• Hands-on cloud experience (AWS, Azure, or GCP) and hybrid/multi-cloud.
• Experience with microservices, API management, and integration patterns.
• Experience in application modernization and cloud migration strategies.
• Knowledge of data architecture, security architecture, and DevOps/CI-CD.
• Proficiency with EA tools (ArchiMate, Sparx EA, LeanIX).
• Excellent stakeholder management and offshore/onshore delivery experience.

Responsibilities

• Define and maintain the enterprise architecture roadmap, aligning technology strategy with business objectives.
• Develop target-state architectures and technology transformation roadmaps.
• Design end-to-end solution architectures spanning applications, data, integration, infrastructure, and security.
• Establish architecture principles, standards, patterns, and governance frameworks across the organization.
• Drive cloud, digital, and technology transformation initiatives, including modernization and migration programs.
• Collaborate with business, engineering, security, and onshore/offshore delivery teams to ensure architectural consistency.
• Evaluate emerging and existing technologies, recommending scalable, cost-effective, and secure solutions.
• Conduct architecture reviews and provide architectural guidance across major programs and projects.
• Create and maintain architecture documentation, including reference architectures, roadmaps, and technical blueprints.
• Translate business requirements into technical solutions with business analysts, project managers, DevOps, and security teams.
• Identify risks, technical debt, and architectural gaps, proposing remediation strategies.
• Mentor solution architects and senior developers on architectural best practices.
• Ensure smooth collaboration across time zones with onshore/global stakeholders.

This role designs and governs scalable, secure, future-ready technology architecture aligned with business goals — spanning applications, infrastructure, data, and integration — while working closely with onshore, offshore, and global stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

• Design end-to-end solution architectures spanning applications, data, integration, infrastructure, and security
• Establish architecture principles, standards, patterns, and governance frameworks across the organization
• Drive cloud, digital, and technology transformation initiatives, including modernization and migration programs

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Bachelor's/Master's degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field
• 15+ years of overall IT experience, with 4+ years in an Enterprise/Solution Architect role
• Strong expertise in enterprise architecture frameworks (TOGAF, Zachman, or similar)
• Hands-on experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP) and hybrid/multi-cloud architectures
• Strong understanding of microservices, API management, and integration patterns (ESB, event-driven architecture)
• Experience with application modernization, legacy system transformation, and cloud migration strategies
• Knowledge of data architecture, security architecture, and DevOps/CI-CD practices
• Familiarity with enterprise architecture tools (e.g., ArchiMate, Sparx EA, LeanIX, or similar)
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills, with proven experience in offshore/onshore/distributed delivery models
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and documentation skills

Preferred Qualifications

• TOGAF certification (highly preferred)
• Cloud certifications (AWS Solutions Architect, Azure Architect Expert, GCP Professional Architect)
• Experience in specific industry domains
• Exposure to AI/ML, data platforms, or IoT architecture is a plus
